The soft starting technology of AC squirrel-cage motor has been applied for many years in the developed country, it has successfully solved the following problems during AC motor starting: supply voltage quality affected by large starting current, high power consumption of power supply circuit, impact on mechanical equipment. HBR1 series full digital soft starter adopts advanced 16 digits single-chip microcomputer as the core to controlthyristor of high power, it has obvious functions like soft starting, current-limit starting, full voltage starting, double-ramp starting, soft starting and so on, besides, it has over current protection, overload protection, phase failure protection,etc, its all parameterscan be set automatically according to loads . Its output voltage rises as per setting regulation, to make the controlled motor get full voltage from setting value. After the starter finishes starting, it will bypass the thyristor, and let AC contactor begin to work. Pump (HBR1 series motor power supply) |
No water pressure fluctuation in the pipe: the soft starter can solve the problem that there is some fluctuation of water pressure in the pipe when water pump motor starts or stops, its starting current can be down to 1/3~1/4 time. Besides, the current peak value can be eliminated during star delta starting. |

The belt cant skid: soft starter can prevent the belt skidding and can reduce the stress of bearing when the fan starts.
